Guarana Antarctica
If you have gotten thirsty by now, it is time I present you Brazil's most popular drink, Guarana Antarctica. This carbonated and caffeinated guarana soda is considered to be Brazil's national drink and one of Coca-Cola's rivals. Guarana Antarctica is even the official sponsor of the Brazilian national football team. The soda's main ingredient is the guarana plant, a native plant of the Amazon Basin of South America. Legend has it that the first guarana plant grew from the eye of an infant god. Nevertheless, the guarana plant has brought pride to the Brazilian people through its demand in other countries. As for the soda, it tastes a bit like apple with a berry aftertaste, while it also provides the consumer with a natural caffeine due to the guarana plant. Try it out next time you find yourself at a store that sells foreign products!
